II、Set-up of the die

1..Loosen the small cover plate(4) and push it aside to expose the die pocket;

2.Push the puncher 6 to left and push the movable V shape die backward to make the die pocket as large as possinle.

3.Pinch the die blocks to match the die pocket and put the die into the pocket.

4.Put the small cover to proper state and screw up.

5.Squeeze the trigger and the machine will be automatically set to the state of ready to use.

III、Welding steps

1.Hold the welder on the hand.

2.Depending on the size of the wire,loose the locknut,then adjust the central gap at the middle of the die to be 1/2-1/3 diameter of the wire by adjusting the regulating screw,then fasten the locknut.

3.Push the punchers(5) to open the right/left valves(7).Thread the wire into the die through the wire groove until two wires meet at the center of the die.

4.Squeeze the trigger to eliminate the central surface gap of the die.Repeat this step for several times(about 4-6 times) until the weld is accomplished when some metal fin come into being at the center of the die.

5.Push the puncher 6.The left/right valves(4,5)and the die will be opened automatically.Take out the welded wire and trim the metal fin.

6.Squeeze the trigger again and the puncher 6 will be automatically set to the state of ready to use.

IV、Tolerance range of the die

A set of die consists of four modules,which is suitable for welding a fixed size of wire.The size of the die must match the diameter of welding wire,with the allowed tolerance of -1%~+3%.

V、Machine maintenance

1.The rotary and the movable part of the cold welding machine should be lubricated with sewing-machine oil at regular intervals.

2.Keep the V shape die chanmber clean and without any impurity.

3.Make sure that the inner part of the die is always clean without any inpurity,and that no any lubricant is in the central hole.However,some lubricant is necessary for the pin and pinhole,so that the pin can be mocable freely in the hole.If the die will be idle temporarily,lubricate it and keep it in a neat place.

4. The JQ-1SA Cold Welding Machine has been adjusted before delicery.To avoid damage,be sure not to disassemble the machine without professional guide.
