Each set of die consists of 4 blocks (two A blocks and two B blocks), 6 pins and4 pieces of springs. The size of block A and block B are different and the samesized blocks are diagonally aligned, as indicated in figure' 1. Notice:There is noletter "A" or "B" on the real blocks.
The die must be cleaned if the parent wires can not be effectively welded after aperiod of application. The cleaning details are as follows:
1. Take out the die from the welder with the die driver. Be careful of the springs to avoid scattering. Rub every faces of the blocks with a piece of clean cloth, especially wiping away the metal particles. Remove the lubricant completelyin the wire groove if there is any in it, or the parent wire can not be effectivelywelded because of sliding movement.
2. Match one block A and one block B with springs and pins between the two blocks and hold them with fingers. Assemble another block A and block B withthe same method.
3. Match the above four blocks with spring-precoated pins. Pinch the four blocks with fingers to test their movement. There will be no abnormal obstruction onthe movement if the four blocks are perfectly matched.
4. Hold the four assembled blocks with the die driver or insert them into the welder.
Each set of die consists of 4 blocks, 2 long pins and 2 short pins, as indicated infigure 3.
Disassemble the die if necessary and rub every faces of the blocks with a pieceof clean cloth, especially wiping away the metal particles. Assembling of the diecan be easily accomplished by aligning the blocks according to the originalnumber mark and the installing the pins to hold them.
